MOHAIR

Over the past two decades, I have photographed the mohair industry in South Africa, documenting the people, landscapes and processes behind one of the world’s most distinctive natural fibres. This work forms part of an ongoing project that will extend into Lesotho, where much of the world’s mohair is produced, tracing the fibre from remote mountain communities to global markets.
